Private lessons are designed to advance individual growth by providing specialized one-on-one instruction. In these lessons, the student’s musical and technical understanding of their instrument will increase, by using the following guidelines:
- Complex scales, arpeggios, and musical etudes will be introduced and expanded on the historical significance of different musical genres/composers will be expanded on Musical comprehension and responsibility will be focused and expanded on
Students taking private lessons will be taught these three keys and more, depending on their current skill level and ability. Each student will be assessed in their first lesson to determine where they are currently at, and where they would like to be at in order to come up with a plan to get them there. Whether they just need some extra assistance with their Solo & Ensemble pieces, their Region music, or they are passionate enough that they would just like to expand their musical repertoire, we will be able to help you.
